Magical Express

Carson is spread out on the cool concrete waiting to board Disney's
Magical Express. If you fly, be sure to have Dusney take care of your
luggage. We checked in Memphis. It magically appeared in our room
while we were out. We checked it on the first floor early this
morning and they take care of the rest except carry ons of course.
Baggage claim in Memphis will be the next time we see it.

Everest round 2

Our last day began with a safari breakfast.......Daisy, Goofy,Mickey,
and Donald. This was at the Tusker in Africa. Next we braved the
chili morning by riding Kali River Rapids. Ponchos, as mentioned in
Birnbaum's 2010 guide came in real handy. The people across from us
were soaked. On a really warm day it would be nice. A little cool
this morning to walk around wet. We saw people in the bathrooms
holding their clothes under the air hand dryers. Everest was next.
Pretty awesome but you can't beat the initial acceleration of
RocknRoller Coaster at Hollywood. We are line for the Nemo show. If
we have time we may see Dinosaur.

Refreshing

Yesterday afternoon we hit the pool at Bay Lake Towers. Nice big
pool. Ranged from one inch to five feet. The kiddie entry was like
entering the ocean on a very gradual slope. Cool waterslide. We saw
Suzanne & Stacy's crew their. They climbed up the 2/3 story slide and
slid down a gazillion times. The water refreshed us all. The pic
below is from a our floor by the elevators.

We hit the showers and on to Polynesian for a multiple-course meal.
Salad, rolls, shrimp, turkey(the best), steak, pork, steamed veggies,
lowmein noodles, vanilla bean ice cream on what taste similar to
French toast with caramel-banana sauce. Stuffed!

The RnRoller Coaster was really fun. The lack of a really fast and

Morning commute

Caught the monorail at our resort over to Magic Kingdom. Caught the
Disney bus to the Disney Beach and Yacht Club for breakfast. It's
drizzling this morning. Expected to be sunny by lunch. The downpour
yesterday was a blessing. It gave us a much needed break as well as
refreshing us.

On Carson's Wish List

Stopped by the gift shop before going to the room.

The Evil Stepmother

Cinderella had the evil stepmother. Well, she made her presence felt at the Grand Floridian. After making her rounds to all kids and adults, she passed by and paid particularly close attention to Carson and Ryder. She told Carson not to eat another bite of roll until he ate some veggies. The his mouth fell wide open. Ryder was told that he was old enough to act appropriately and he should do so. Some time passed as we waited on our bill. The evil one was making another round. Meanwhile Ryder was picking at Carson and appeared refreshed from the day. As she approached from a behind but facing JA and I. Noticing Ryder's behavior she spoke up loudly and said "Ryder, I want you to come here". This was after making eye contact to ensure it was ok. He sat up looked straight and looked at his mommie and me with a smirk. She walked him over one table to the corner. By now all surrounding tables and watching closely. She has him place his nose in the corner. He is taking it somewhat serious but does chuckle several times. They now think she is watching them. She was fantastic. The wide-eyed look was almost evil. She had all kids full attention. Cinderella, the Prince and the like made their rounds but none even came close to the impression she made. We will remember many years from now.

Can you say chocolate?

Key lime tarts, lemon tart, brownie, some other tart, and choc
mousse. The two small ones in the back...that's the ones. They
appear to have a wrapper similar to cupcakes but no. It's all
chocolate. Brownies rounded it out. After trying one, Carson said “Daddy your brownies are much better”. I agreed. It's in the cooking time. That's the secret.

Strawberry Soup?

C&R had the usual with a twist, they had pizza with chicken legs on
the side. JA had sliced roast beef, potatoes, and steamed veggies. I
had roasted chicken something I can't pronounce, beans, potatoes,
grilled veggie salad and yes - Strawberry Soup. One more good meal.
The soup tasted like fresh strawberries ground up. Lol. It it but it
was really thick.
